Where is a good place to live in Ireland?
I am currently looking at moving out to Ireland – specifically Co. Wexford. I would like to be within approx 15 mile of Wexford Town. Can anyone let me know some nice areas that are quite, couple of pubs, friendly people etc. Thanks.
Taghmon and Adamstown are nice quiet little villages about ten miles from Wexford town. In general, if you find a place off the main roads, it’ll be nicer. Villages close to Wexford (like Blackwater) have seen a lot of development lately and they’ve lost a lot of their rural charm. You should also stay inland a bit, as many of the coastal villages are dominated by tourist facilities and are a bit lacking in soul.
