There is a great variety of accommodation in Exmoor from small bed and breakfasts, to country inns, and self catering accommodation. There are also several good campsites to choose from, some of which also have static caravans available for hire.

The medieval town of Dunster with it dramatic castle is situated on the edge of Exmoor National Park, here you will find many good quality guest houses and small hotels. Dunster holds many events such as the Dunster by Candle light weekend in early December and in June the residents dress up in Victorian clothes.

The pretty fishing village of Porlock is another excellent base for exploring Exmoor National Park. It is also on the Coleridge Way and South West Coastal Footpath making it a popular destination for keen walkers. Here there are a number of excellent bed and breakfasts and local inns.

Dulverton, also known as the Gateway to Exmoor, is another interesting market town with plenty of accommodation for the visitor. There is a good selection of self catering accommodation Exmoor National Park. Many farms have converted their out buildings into comfortable holiday cottages. Some are also able to offer stabling for those who want to bring their horse and experience the excellent local riding.
