Will I meet anybody my age signing up for these Community Center classes?
I just moved to Washington State from Chicago and I know no one here. The only people that I am able to meet are the locals at the pub across the street. But they are all way older than me. I’m 24 and want to meet people my own age. I was thinking about signing up for an Italian cooking class, a hiking trip up to Mount Rainier and maybe a photography class. Will I meet anyone my age or is it going to be all older people like usual?
No, I think you will probably meet some people your age. Those are all things a 24 year old would love to do. I think its a great idea. Have you tried Meetup.com as well? You can type in your location and that will show you all the local activities going on in the area and actually show you profiles of the people attending. Maybe this will help gear you towards your are group. Good luck!
