Best way to meet people in Toronto?
I just moved here. I have a few friends here and know the area not too bad, and starting college at George Brown next week. But most of my friends have moved away. I played 2 years of soccer at a university in the u.s., so I never had to make new friends. Well I did, but you were always with team mates so all hung out together automatically. Anyway, I usually attend lots of concerts, i.e. death cab, modest mouse, kings of leon, sufjan, etc. Mostly alternative/indie. I do drink, socially, but like to go out for a fun time or casual to a pub or something. Once I meet people I am very open and talk a lot. But I have trouble making the first move to meet new people and friends. What advice do you all have and ideas to meet people? Nothing lame, I am 19, 20 in November so like fun stuff!

Why would you post this question twice? Don’t ask people the same question multiple times in real life and you’ll make friends easily enough.
You’re starting school in a few days. That’s hundreds of people right there to be friends with. You’ll get to know people in your class.
