Best places to propose in Boston during the winter? Also best night clubs?
Okay heres the situation: I was going to propose in NYC during Christmas time but I decided since Boston was smaller and more personal that it would be better!
Where do you think is the best place to propose in Boston? I will be doing it most likely over Christmas break from school. I was thinking the Boston Commons with the ice skating rink and stuff but I dont know. I’m not really into restaurant proposals either!
Also, what is the best swing/big band/jazz clab besides Scullers? I dont really want a place that we have to buy tickets for, just a fun club to hang out and dance? Thanks!
Inside the courtyard of the Isabel Stuart Gardner Museum. Outside it’s cold. Or in the Christian Science Mother Church’s Mapparium. That’s a large stained glass walk-through globe with cool acoustics. You stand at one end and whisper your proposal, it’s heard by the person standing at the other end of the bridge. Plus you are giving her the world.
If you insist on outside, then Copley Square is beautiful. Comm Ave in winter has the lights. At a Patriot’s playoff game on the Jumbotron (says my husband in a tone like there’s obviously no other option). On the Mass Ave Bridge with the skyline spread out in front of you. The Common in front of the Christmas Tree.
