Sports Bars – Boxing PPV in San Francisco?
What bar(s) will I be able to watch the Hatton vs. Mayweather boxing PPV event on Dec. 8 ? I’ll be staying near Union Square and hoping to see it somewhere in that area.
SF isn’t the biggest sports-bar city (or sports city, for that matter)… There will probably be a few bars in the Mission and Lower Haight showing it, but the audience will most likely be hipsters watching it for irony’s sake.

Also, I once was dragged to Kezar Pub at Stanyan and Waller (a bit away from Union Square, but…), and it absolutely horrified me… which means it’s probably pretty good for sports stuff (TVs showing sports everywhere and a menu actually containing buffalo wings… a San Francisco anomaly!)
I’d call them in advance and ask.
