Are any sports bars in Harrisburg, PA carrying the De La Hoya – Mayweather fight on May 5, 2007?
Or if there are any other places near Carlisle or Gettysburg that will carry the fight Saturday night?
Sports bars are no longer the place to go for PPV boxing matches. Supposedly HBO charges a sportsbar for the PPV fee times the capacity of the sports bar which is ridiculous. Since they can’t police the # of people at sports bars around the country, they just make it cost prohibitive.
The best thing to do is get together with a number of friends and split the cost.
