What is the real reason for the spate of post box closures?
A rumour in our pub says the postal union agreed a wage increase for their members so they could deliver much more unwanted but highly profitable junk mail but it was overlooked they already had a deal about individual post bag weight restrictions. Royal Mail is ALLEGEDLY trying to get round this by sealing off certain strategic public post boxes, van delivering to and filling them with junk mail for the postmen to then take on their rounds.
CHEAP LABOUR! it screams out from every move governments have made in the past 25 years.
Cheap labour benefits the better-off, and keeps the lower-classes low-paid and without representation. And directs thier anger at immigrants…who were brought in as cheap labour to be exploited.
It’s the biggest unsussed con in the UK.
I was a postman about 1968, worked hard but was reasonably protected. Now, people I know working as postmen are being squeezed daily.
And they say that we Brits don’t want to work! Rather, a married man with a child or two cannot work under these conditions and wages, even though he’d like to for his own self-respect…what the government wants is cheap foreign labour…viz the British Airways catering co, who tried to replace hard-working, low paid Indians (with kids, morgages) with imported cheap labour from East Europe. They’d even arranged accommodation for them. WAKE UP BRITAIN! There’s no need whatsoever for the need for profit to ruin our society..and cause racial strife.
