What’s fun in Pottstown, PA?
My husband is thinking of accepting a job there. We would be moving from Atlanta, GA. I know it’s a smaller place and will be different for us, but we want to make the best of the change.
We’re 33 and enjoy outdoor activities, restaurants and pubs. Our daughter is 16 and would just be happy to meet new people and find places to hang out. If you have any advice, please share.

There’s not a lot right there, but if you dirve for 20 minutes or so, you can be in King of Prussia and Valley Forge, where there is a LOT to do. King of Prussia Mall is considered to be the biggest mall complex on the east coast. Valley Forge is a nice quiet park but the one thing I really recommend there is the Schuylkill River Trail, a bike trail that runs all the way into downtown Philadelphia, about a 25 or 30 mile ride. You can check Wikipedia for some basic information on each of these, and for the Valley Forge/King of Prussia area.
