Alternative night life in Newcastle?
Im going out in Newcastle on a Sunday night soon and want some ideas of where to go. Im in to metal, industrial, grunge, general alternative stuff blah blah! Would like to go to some pubs and then on a club.
Any suggestions?

You’re in luck, mate, there’s a few good rock bars and one semi-decent rock club. Start off in Trillions, which is based by the Newcastle City Library, just behind Northumberland Street. Trillions is a rock bar in a converted cellar, definitely a good place for tunes and good prices too. The Dog & Parrot is located by Central Station, just off Clayton Street West and is a smaller bar but equally as good as Trillions. Also The Head of Steam is another good place to go for some good tunes and loads of choice for drinks. Clubbing wise there’s Legends, which is another cellar type bar/club, based up by Grey’s Monument, just at the top of Grey Street and Krash, based along John Dobson Street. Hope this has helped you.
