Quick question about night clubs in Switzerland (Zurich specifically)?
How old do you have to be to get into night clubs in Switzerland/Zurich?
I’m going next November, and when I go there I’ll be turning 18 in 2 weeks. & thanks for your answer eddie (:
You need to be 18 for most clubs in Zurich, but depending on the venue and party, some require you to be 20, 21, 23 or even older.
If you don’t want to go through the hassle of not being let in, I suggest the club “X-Tra” (probably the largest club in town) which is open to over 16 year-olds on Saturdays and very popular with teens.
Most of the clubs (at least the ones you could call “decent”) are strict when it comes to checking ID. Of course, you could be lucky and come across a bouncer that will let you in despite the fact that you’re not 18 yet. But I wouldn’t count on that…
I certainly wouldn’t advise you to use any kind of fake ID, you could get in to big trouble if you’re caught!
