My stupid boyfriend is stressing me out right before finals. He wants to go to this party because I can’t hang out this weekend (studying), so I told him it’d be fine but it’d also be quid pro quo, because I’m not particularly enthusiastic about him going without me, so I get to go to a club with my friends later. Then he gets pissed (he’s already said he’ll dump me if I “booty dance” with anyone). He fought with me all night until I was in tears because he was mad that I didn’t encourage him to go, no strings attached. He says I was being selfish because I didn’t hide my unhappiness, and by my indicating that I was at all unhappy, he can’t go with a clear conscience. I think he’s being selfish for starting this meaningless drama with me at this critical point, my last quarter of senior year. What the hell?
