Is this outfit a little too scandalous for clubbing?
My girlfriend has bought a new outfit to wear to an all night rave party where people can generally get away with wearing anything. (Guvernment nightclub in Toronto)
She’s more of a cutie, then downright sexy, but being a 32B-25-36 petite frame on a 5’4′ girl maybe she can pull this off. I want to know what other ladies think of someone dressed up like this?
The outfit consists of black leather hot shorts, summer pink ruched bustier top with full coverage front and back (no midriff showing), 4 inch tie-up heels, fishnet arm gauntlets, done up nails and hollywood hairdo

FYI this woman is 24 yrs old
Don’t mean to confuse anyone but the outfit consists of the Bebe (pink bustier top) and the leather shorts, not the leather shorts with the leather tube thingy
From experience with my share of rave parties back in college years, I, for one, would not wear that. It is not so much as how “scandalous” it is, but rather how uncomfortable it is. Unlike clubbing, which it’s just a couple of hours or ’til club closing time, rave parties really DO last all night. Unless you go just to socialize and get drunk without doing much dancing, what you showed here is not comfortable enough to be an “all nighter” outfit. The BoyShorts are waay too short that it sends a different kind of “invitation” message to the guys instead of tantalizing their imaginations. And 4″-heels will make her feet sore before she even gets to dance for 1 hour. It’s best to save this outfit for another night of clubbing rather than a rave party, where it’s more likely to lose track of friends, who can keep an eye out on each other’s drinks to prevent strangers from spiking those drinks.
What I would recommend is something more casual, sexy, yet more comfortable for dancing fun: Daisy-Duke-length type of short shorts, tight cotton tee (low-enough v-neck or scoopneck for peek-a-boo glimpses to tantalize, but still no midriff showing), and flat sandals for dancing ease…..and hair up in a casual way, such as a ponytail or randomly tied up (it does get reeeally hot after dancing for a while). The Daisy Duke shorts offer more coverage than those leather shorts, as well as tantalizing enough when doing certain dance movements. The whole outfit exudes more of a combo of innocence with sexy temptation that drives guys’ imagination wild (wondering what they could “teach” the innocent vs. how much the “innocent” really knows and what “lessons” might they get “in return”). The casual hair updo makes the guys fantasize about pulling it off and seeing the long locks spread down in an untamed array….not to mention the updo brings focus to the back of the neck.
But then again, that’s just my opinion. When I went clubbing and rave-partying, my goal was to turn heads, have fun and dance ’til I dropped. It’s better to be different than what most other girls wear, as they tend to go all out for these rave parties, too. It still depends on what your GF’s goals are though.
