Boston college? Boston U? NYU? Cornell? UVirginia?
Your grades and SAT scores will not exclude you from any college — even the most selective. You are a little below the average for applicants to schools at the very top — but within the range of those who are accepted. Your grades and scores are better than about 30% of those accepted at Harvard.
While you are qualified to get into any school — that doesn’t mean that you will. You have to make yourself stand out. Among other things, you need a killer admissions essay. I agree with the other poster about being careful with the soup kitchen essay.
You have a legitimate shot at all the schools you mention — but none of them are a sure thing. You will get into some good school, though.
