What should I do to celebrate my 27th birthday?
I’d like to do something a little different this year. I am tired of getting drink packages at a club downtown (Chicago). I want to include friends, about 30-50 people depending on the number of those who RSVP. Karaoke is fun… live blues would be great… but I’d like some kind of private party element involved. I am having the most difficult time trying to come up with new ideas. If you are in the Chicago area (preferably south-side or south burbs), please suggest ideas and venues. If you are outside of Chicago, please just give me some ideas of what would be fun for a group of people (ages 23-50) without “going club-hopping” or throwing a party at my house. I’m desperate here. My birthday is next month and I would like to send out invites and book a party somewhere this coming week. Thanks for any and all ideas and suggestions!
Also, pricing is important. Anything more than $35 per person is a little too much.

why not look at irish pubs that serve meals….they are always fun…and can be for all ages : )
