What should someone do/see/experience when in Ireland?
I am Irish, and am planning to visit the place of my ancestry. What are some recommendations for what to do while I am there? What are good places to go that aren’t to “touristy”, like restaurants, pubs, cities, etc..
Also, any things that I should be aware of or take caution with? For Example: Don’t drink the water in Mexico..
How do you mean you are ‘Irish’? Your mum and dad Irish but you were born somewhere else? No harm in saying you are an American citizen or whatever…
Anyways…visit Derry City Walls, Cliffs of Moher, Connemara, Bunbeg, Inishowen in Donegal, Galway city, Cork, Kerry, Mourne Mountains and Newcastle. Go and watch a major hurling game. Get pissed in Doolin, just have fun.
