Where are the Irish Parts of Chicago?
Im looking to move to Chicago in a little bit and I was wondering where there would be the strongest Irish Culture, or at least some really great Irish pubs.
The Bridgeport area around 31st and Halsted and the area around 111th west of Western Ave are two South side Irish neighborhoods, the North side neighborhood is around Devon and Halsted. But, as the first poster noted there are few of the original people left in these neighborhoods This doesn’t count St Patrick’s day when they dye the river green and everybody is Irish
There’s a really nice Irish pub in Evanston, it’s called Tommy Nevins
