A friend and i are cycling from Newcastle upon Tyne to all five capital cities of the UK and Ireland.
Leaving on June 2nd.
We head for London then Cardiff, followed by Dublin and Belfast, before heading to Edinburgh for the final capital.
We are trying to raise 5000 pounds for Cancer Research UK.
Along the way we will be staying in B&Bs and pub inns and a few youth hostels, as well as camping out as and when the weather permits.

If you pass through Stranraer (which you probably will if you get the ferry from Belfast), I would strongly recommend my parents’ B&B – http://www.crosshaven.co.uk
They welcome cyclists and have a secure garage where you can put your bikes.
