Where are best pubs in Dublin, where do you start at the start of night?? Any hints on what to do in hen wkend
Start by looking up www.dublinevents.ie. or www.dublineventguide.ie
Temple Bar is the area where the most action is but there are several other pubs which are great, choose a restaurant to start your night theres hundreds then potter around Temple Bar have 1 or 2 drinks in each place then move on, there are plenty of late bars open til 2.00 or 2.30 these are also dance venues. There are some that open later like the Viper Rooms or another one in Temple Bar just ask people. Some poular ones include Lillies Bordello, Club M, Break for the Border, Bad Bobs, Fitzsimons, 4 Dame Lane, Sosumi, the Capital Bar, Reds, 21s, The Q Bar. All are within walking distance of O’Connel Street and Grafton Street.
Good pubs that open late are The Porter House, The Czech Inn, The Bailey, Porterhouse 2, The Bleeding Horse, Flannerys, The Village, Whelans (all a bit further away up Camden Street.
If you’re only in Dublin for 2 nights stick with Temple Bar.
Across the Liffey near the halfpenny bridge is Pravda a late bar & dance venue before that you could warm up in Panama down the road a bit. The choice is endless but it would be handy to decide during the day where to aim to go, talk to Irish guys & girls and they will tell you the best places and times to get in by. Some places wont allow hen parties in so be warned, hide the L plates!
Daytime theres plenty of shopping oppportunities or you can go cultural and visit the art gallery or guinesses or museums or simply recover from the night before!!
