Are my parents being reasonable or are they overprotective?
I’m a girl that just turned 17, BUT I’m going to college in Seattle (a big, dangerous city) to live on my own in less than two months. YET, I’m still not even allowed to go dance at an underage dance club, with my friends, in Portland, OR until about 3 a.m. and then sleepover. Considering my circumstances, do you believe my parents are being reasonalbe, or is it time for them to let go?
i think that they want to hold onto you just a little bit longer until they have to let you go. how about you spend some quality time together, so they get what they want (youll have fun too, you know) and have a discussion (not an argument) about it……3 am? your going to have all of your college life to party until 3 am! why rush it? enjoy what you have! (No, i am NOT oldfashioned) ;-D
