Where are places in or around East Lansing, MI that I can bring under-21 friends on my 21st b-day?
My birthday is the 25th, which is a Sunday, and I want to go out at midnight, so really it’ll be more like Saturday night. I know a lot of places are open late on Saturday night, and I’m not necessarily looking to do anything big (I hate dancing and clubs, ick)…I was thinking something like T.G.I. Friday’s or something, since they look like they have some awesome drinks and I know they’re open until at least 1:00 on Saturday nights. The thing is, I know there are some places that won’t serve you at midnight and some that won’t serve you on your birthday at all, and I don’t know which places those are. So if anyone has any suggestions of places I could go with under-21 friends (my boyfriend is 4 months younger than me, and I really want to be able to spend my birthday with him, so it’s really important to me that I find somewhere that I can bring underage friends) and that will actually serve me at midnight on my birthday, that would be awesome.
TGIF is ok, depenindg on the location. They do make decent drinks. So yeah Fridays would work, flash your ID and say its your birthday, they will do something for you, free drink or maybe a cake or something. My ex had her 21st at a Fridays, if your licence birth date says your 21, your good to go. Most places do a little something special for you even though its pretty corny. On my 21st, i had a DD and hit up few bars and got wasted for free and had a blast.
