Whats your Idea of a Perfect Vacation in Manhatten/New York City?? I will tell you mine….who’s is better?
I like going in fall…riding the double decker, staying somewhere close to Times Square. Going to the HAHA (comedy club) walking thru the neigborhoods…walking thru central park. going to ground zero. taking the ferrry to staten and ellis island….trying to get into a talk show but never successful…..eating at the street vendor (chicken kabobs, gyros) and walking thru street fairs…
I think my point is that I would like to get to know the neigborhoods more and stay away from the Touristy things I have been doing there for years,,,,,,,
Any suggestions??? thanx
Everything I want to do there is illegal, so I haven’t gone. I like exploring tunnels, so I’d want to walk through the subway tunnels, sewers, utility tunnels, and cool stuff like that. Did you know they used to have boat tours of the sewer system?
