Where can I post an article about a semi-celebrity; my father?
My father was a local comic in the Milwaukee area. I want to commemorate him in some way. HE had performed with comics such as Drew Carey, and Arsenio Hall, before their ascendence to fame. He encouraged and inspired Dobie Maxwell, a local comic on the rise, with a “Mr. Lucky” act with shades of Rodney Dangerfield.
Now he isn’t as big as Richard Pryor, or Eddie Murphy, but according to my mother, he was a local pioneer in bringing comedy to Milwaukee, as far as clubs and such.

I don’t know if he’s big enough for wikipedia, but I want to add him somewhere so his legacy won’t be forgotten…especially since he can’t tell me much, if anything anymore.
Wikipedia is fine and I encourage you to go with it! My Mother is somewhat of a local celeb as well and we created an article for her for her birthday! Its really cool and as the years go by you can edit etc. Don’t be intimidated by Wikipedia! It’s for everyone! No person is too small for Wikipedia! IMHO more worldy and credible than My Space.
