What are the best comedy clubs in Phoenix?
I’m looking for comedy clubs in the Greater Phoenix Area. I’d like to know where the big names in comedy go (similar to Caroline’s Comedy Club in New York or The Comedy Connection in Boston).

The Improv in the complex on the NE corner of Rural and University is the only one I have been too, and it is good but expensive with a minimum drink requirement in addition to the entry charge. A lot of the bigger names in comedy will actually play at one of the local arenas instead of a comedy club. Several have been at Dodge Theater in downtown Phoenix and for really popular ones there is also US Airways Arena or the Veteran Memorial Coliseum.
