What’s the best way to tell when someone really doesn’t understand England?
eg. going into a pub and ordering a coffee
or buying tinned tomato soup and it NOT BEING HEINZ!!! Terrible!
When they look at you blankly!! Thats when you know they don’t understand….then you see an unsure smile and a nod!!
I teach English and now can spot the signs!!
