Great place to celebrate 21st birthday in NYC?
My friend is turning 21 at the end of this month and she’s looking for a great bar in NYC to celebrate on a Wednesday night. We go to Irish pubs all the time, so we want something a little different, but not necessarily fancy. Dining isn’t an issue either — we’re more interested in drinking than eating. Since it’s summer and could potentially be great weather, maybe someplace with a rooftop area? That’s not required though.
Basically, no pubs, no clubs.. and no Porky’s!
And best answer will NOT go to someone who just posts a link to a website with a generic list of bars.. I want testimonials, or at least some sort of commentary and opinion!! lol
