Vancouver nightclubs!!!!!!!?
Hi, im a 21 year old Scottish guy who is going to be staying in Vancouver for a month at a place called Nanaimo does anyone know how far away this place is from the city and if it has any good night clubs or pubs or will I need to travel to the city for that?
Iv never been to Vancouver so have no idea what to expect but any details anyone could provide would be much appreciated!
Iv seen a club called Caprice would anyone recommend?

Ok …your question is a little confusing here in that while you say you are staying in Vancouver you also say that you are staying in a place called Nanaimo !
Here’s a map of B.C so look at the Southern Part ( can enlarge ) and you’ll see that “Nanaimo” is actually on Vancouver Island which is separate from the city of Vancouver which is on the mainland !

Matter if fact Nanaimo ( in Vancouver Island ) is a 1 1/2 hour ferry trip and on top of that a 1 hour drive to the city of Vancouver on the Mainland !….Confusing isn’t it ? *lol*
To make matters worse there actually is a “Nanaimo” street in Vancouver (the city) so if you are staying in downtown Vancouver on Nanaimo St. then sure you are close to lots of entertainment !

Incidently the “Caprice ” club is in downtown Vancouver and not in downtown Nanaimo…..here’s their site…..
